Arce parish records
Does anyone know the condition/extent of parish records in Arce? Most interested in marriage records in the period 1720-1770. Thank you.

There are no parish records for the town which have been microfilmed. You can trying contacting the parish priest there to inquire about the records for this time period.TerraLavoro wrote:Does anyone know the condition/extent of parish records in Arce? Re: Arce parish records
Hello TerraLavoro, the parish records from Arce are probably kept in Ferentino. Most of the little towns in the Frosinone province have moved their parish archives in Ferentino, I was there for a research a few weeks ago. However in Ferentino they don't have any microfilmed file, the research should be done in person and on Wednesdays only.TerraLavoro wrote:Does anyone know the condition/extent of parish records in Arce? That's interesting ItalianOrigins, is that because Ferentino is the location of the diocesan archive?

Yes TerraLavoro, the diocesan archive is based in Ferentino. They have records from the 17th century up to the 20th century.TerraLavoro wrote:That's interesting ItalianOrigins, is that because Ferentino is the location of the diocesan archive?

Thank you, that is great to know. Another question, is there a list of parishes (by town?) with records contained in the Ferentino archive? Thanks again.
