He was age 53 and a peasant who had been born in the town. He was the son of deceased Giuseppe Caruso and living Filippa Macaluso, a town resident. He was the spouse of Caterina Macaluso. Witnesses were Agostino Galluzzo, age 66, peasant, and Giuseppe Bondi, age 52, also a peasant, both town residents.
