Groom: Salvadore Albano, alias (also known as) Mazzotta. Never before married; of this city of Monreale. Son of dec Salvadore and living Serafina Albano.
Bride: Antonia di Piazza, single, of this above city and resident within the Reclusorio del Santissima Cuore di Gesu`* -daughter of dec Maestro Pietro and dec Brigida Piazza.
They were joined in matrimony in the church of S. Giuseppe. Witnesses were Rosario Galletti and Carmelo Matranga, both of Monreale.
* the "reclusorio del Santissima Cuore del Gesu`-it appears to have been a facility for poor girls. Reclusorio is a penitentiary but I'm not sure that concept is applicable in this instance. I found the following:
CHIESA del SACRO CUORE
Sulla parte retrostante della facciata di questa Chiesa, vi è l'ex Collegio dei Gesuiti, oggi adibito a Scuola, è posto sulla strada parallela, la via Benedetto D'Acquisto che conduce a Palermo e dalla quale si arriva a Monreale. Il collegio fu fondato nel 1553 e gestiva quattro scuole. Con la soppressione della Compagnia di Gesù, nel 1792 diventò un reclusorio di fanciulle povere con il nome di Sacro Cuore di Gesù.
