I found this birth record today and noticed the same name pop up. Is this Giuseppe Gaglio a possible brother to Giacomo?

Meanwhile, the notation speaks of a marriage to Antonina Palazzolo. If I remember correctly you had a manifest for G. Battista Gaglio arriving in New Orleans and going to "uncle Antonio Palazzolo" - correct? This may help to make a connection in the family...

Have searched for the marriage or banns of Giuseppe Gaglio and Rosa Fiordilino without success. Was hoping that we could see the name of the wife of Giovanbattista [mother of Giuseppe] and compare to the information you have about Giacomo Gaglio...

As it stands right now, a sibling relationship is POSSIBLE, but not verified. You will need to find other records to confirm that Giuseppe and Giacomo have the same parents...

Based on the above birth of giovanbattista Gaglio in 1884, Giuseppe Gaglio (age 37 at the birth) would have been born about 1847.
Based on records in your other posts... The birth of Giovanbattista Gaglio in 1880 has Giacomo at age 29 for the birth, and age 41 in 1884 at the birth of Giuseppe (who is the Joseph Gaglio who immigrated to Chicago), correct? Giving us a birth range of 1843-1851

In the marriage record...
Father of Giacomo is deceased Giovanbattista, and his mother is living Isabella Ci?????
Maria's father is deceased Giuseppe, and mother is living Filippa Gaglio.

If you locate the marriage of Giuseppe Gaglio and Rosa Fiordilino, you can see if Giuseppe's parents are the same as Giacomo's.

Dated Nov 29, 1848. Giuseppe Gaglio son of GiovannBattista Gaglio and Elisabetta Tinervia. In the marriage record for Giacomo, the mother's name is given as Isabella Tinervia (the surname which T couldn't decipher).

Thank you for the translation. So does that mean there is a relation here? Are Isabella and Elisabetta the same person?

Edited: I think they are one and the same. I found Giacomo's birth record dated 1850 listing the same parents.
