I'm in the process of obtaining Italian citizenship under the 1948 rule through my great grandmother. Our case has been split in two, the first hearing was in November 2014 and our second, final hearing where we will get a decision is in March 2016 (massive gap unfortunately!)
The applicants are myself, my sister and my father. However, at the end of last month my sister gave birth to a baby girl. What I'm wondering is if our 1948 cases are won in March 2016, will my niece be eligible for citizenship, as she will have been born before the decision?
Any advice appreciated!
