Looking for information on my great-grandparents
What steps should I take to find information about my great-grandparents? I've looked at several sites, but I have only found a possible birth date and immigration date. They both came from Tyrol, Austria. Thank you.

What do you, or other people, in your family know about them so far? Parents or sibling names? Where did you find that possible birth date and immigration date?
Start by looking for records for them in the country where you live. (The US?) Look for their death records. Did you know if they married before or after they immigrated? Look for any naturalization records for them. Look for a passenger arrival record (such as on Ellis Island's, Castle Garden's, Ancestry's, and FamilySearch.org's websites).
