Dated Sept 2, 1869 at 7 P.M.

Witnesses were Signor Ignazio Giusto(?), son of deceased Coriano, age 44, a clerk, and Signor Giuseppe Macaluso, of dec Antonino, age 35, also a clerk. Both were residents in the town.

Groom: Salvatore Mascari, widower of Maria Spicuzza, age 34, a fisherman, son of deceased Rosario (Spicuzza) and Francesca Guglielmino.
Bride: Caterina D'Amore, never before married, age 21, daughter of Filippo D'Amore, and dec Maria Rosa Schiavo.

Then there is the standard exchange of vows and that they were pronounced man and wife, according to the appropriate articles 130, 131, and 132 of the civil code. It also states that they presented the required documents for their marrriage, including the certificate of the publications which was entered into the allegati registers of the town.
