Problem with this record for Pompeo

Can someone please look this over for me, because it doesn't make any sense to me and I'm not sure if I am missing something. I have a record of birth for Angelo Michele Pompeo Feb 23, 1886. On this record it states that he marries Maria Incoronata Iorio on Dec 31, 1903. I also have a death record for the same Angelo Michele Pompeo who died Aug. 18, 1887 at the age of 1 year and 5 months. Am I missing something? Thank you for any help you can give.

The notation in the margin of Pompeo's record is a mistake. Here are links to the records (the ones you posted can't be accessed), indices, and HER birth record which has a notation concerning her marriage to someone else on the Dec 31, 1903. From the indices, you can also see that there was no other Angelo Michele who was born and died during the time period. Also online records only go to 1900.
