Help with Birth Notes

Post by vspeciale66 »

HI
Can some one help with the translation of the notes at the bottom of the birth record for Domenica Floreno? I can translate the top parts of the record but not the note.

Thanks in advance!

It states that the declaration and presentation of the birth was made by the midwife because she helped with the birth, and because the husband of Simonetti was far from the town.

I was wondering if you could tell me which words showed he was far away. The father in this case was a deaf mute and it is hard to imagine he could have been out of town.... Thanks for helping my ongoing struggle to learn Italian.

Thanks!
