Need help - What is the purpose of this form?

Hello, found this form in the birth records. It lists my great aunt and uncle. I translated it the best I could but I don't understand what its pertaining to. Indicates birth but no baby is mentioned. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

This is an annotation to the birth record (#37? In births of 1887) that on 10 September 1905, Maria Falcone contracted marriage with Carmelo Barbera, Act #68.
