I'm looking for a read on the mother's surname in this record of baptism (record is at top right).

It's possible this Salvatore Pampalone may be the son of the married couple I referred to in this post -

Your help is greatly appreciated!

The mother's surname does not appear in this baptism record. That's the word for spouses or married couple which follows the first name Catarina. I noticed that, in this section of baptism records, the mother's surname is given in some of the records, but in others, it is just the Latin word for spouses which follows her first name, and her surname is not given, as in this record. The infant's name in this record is Salvatore Felice Maria Pampalone.

I believe the name is Salvatore Felice. The words after "Felici" are "Parini fuerunt Antoninus Saladino filius ..."erudita74 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2017, 13:57 The mother's surname does not appear in this baptism record. Livio
You are correct. I misread that earlier. Tired eyes from flying yesterday, and we had to move our clocks an hour ahead here in the eastern part of the U.S. So less sleep!

I'm confused now as to who Antonio Saladino is. Salvatore Felice Pampalone's father is Sebastiano Pampalone and his mother is Catarina (maiden name unknown). Who is Antonio Saladino?
