Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
I do have a question. I clicked the link I am not sure which of which one to chose.
Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
you can go in the LDs center near your residence and to order the microfilms of church records abt the probable marriage year of your ancestor. When the microfilms arrive you can try, but
because you know no the right church where they married, you must try in all church records ... the records are in latin, and normally it are also the indexes, so no much work...

Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
To my knowledge, pre-1866 records from Nicosia are not available online. However, I did some searching on Antenati in order to find some of Marchina Rizzo's siblings. It turns out that she had a brother named Francesco Paolo Rizzo. He was born on April 13, 1866 in Nicosia, Sicily to Don Francesco Rizzo and Pietra Valenti (Don is a title of respect). On the record, it states that Francesco Rizzo's father was named Sigismundo Rizzo. Pietra Valenti's father was named Antonino Valenti. Here are the links (record #170):

You can probably find more siblings in these records.
I also did some searching on Ancestry.com, and found out that Marchina's mother (Pietra Valenti) immigrated to the United States. I found the immigration record for her brother Sigismundo Rizzo (born about 1858). It states that he was immigrating to Philadelphia, PA from Nicosia on the S.S. Ancona on June 8, 1915. He was traveling to be with his mother and brother, Antonino Rizzo in Philadelphia. The record states that his closest relative in Nicosia was his brother-in-law, named Vincenzo Giacinto. This means that Marchina has multiple siblings that moved to the United States (and some that presumably remained in Sicily). In addition, this means that her father may have also immigrated to the U.S.
There are other records on Ancestry for the Rizzo family in the U.S. (e.g. census records in Philadelphia, death records, etc.). I'm not good at linking to images on forum posts. So, I'm hoping that somebody else can post some screenshots of these records.
I hope that this information helps!

Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
WOW THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yes that helps a lot!
Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
Question Meant to ask, would there be an age of Francesco and Pietra on these records?
Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
Thank you so much!
Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
I was wondering the birth records posted above does it mention an age for Pietra?
Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo
No age for Pietra, just that she was the daughter of Antonino Valenti, and she was the wife of Francesco Rizzo.
