How do I know the name of Funeral Home that performed the funeral of my relative Mary Botteri (Albasi) on 08/24/1955? --- (The Calvary Cemetery, not answer me).

If she died in one of the five boroughs of NYC, the funeral home info should appear on the death certificate-

I can not find the certificate number ...

You never used to need the certificate number in order to request one. Also, more than likely, a funeral home listed on a 1955 death certificate would no longer be in existence today. Possibly finding the death notice in old newspaper would yield the name of the funeral home.

I have tried to search his obituary ... but I have not found it. I'm not very good at using the US search methods ... I'm Italian ...
