What are the words after the deceased father's name

Post by rp76226 »

The link is the death record for Vincenzo Lorusso who was the son of deceased Angelo Michele Lorusso. There are a couple of words after Angelo Michele. What are they and what is their translation?

I'm reading "Angelo Michele Cannito dico? Loru... I wonder if they intended to write Lorusso there. They've obviously made a mistake with his surname and put the wife's surname there instead??? That's my thinking anyway.

Thank you. Michele Angelo's son, Vincenzo Lorusso 1759 - 1844, was married to Lucia Cannito. Not sure if she is the one referenced. If yes, I cannot think of the reason.

In this record it says that Vincenzo Lorusso was the widower of Angela Lucia Cannito.
