Groom:
Filippo Monteleone, never before married, son of deceased Giovanni Monteleone and Pasqua Oddo, who had been a married couple in this town when he was alive
Bride:
Vincenza Romano, daughter of Biagio Romano and Maria Savoca
The mother Maria's surname is definitely Savoca. I found a son born to this couple named Vincenzo Romano-record dated April 17, 1828 (below). He was born on the 16th.

Yes, Pasqua was alive in 1841 when son Filippo Monteleone married.
She also remarried.

The bride: Pasqua Oddo-widow of Giovanni Montelione (this is how the surname is spelled in this record); she was the daughter of deceased Filippo Oddo and Virginia la Gala

Re: Stabile in campo fiorito
The mother Virginia's surname in Pasqua's death record is Antinovo. I found an 1831 marriage record for an Antonino "Antinovo alias la Gala." So the family with the Antinovo surname in Campofiorito also was known under the surname "la Gala." I also found the death record of Virginia Oddo and Gala, who died on July 10, 1826 at about the age of 60. In her death record, Virginia is listed as the wife of Michele Catalano. So now the question is "did her daughter, Pasqua Oddo, marry Michele's son Salvatore, making his father Michele Pasqua's step-father??? I can't find the marriage record for Michele Catalano and Virginia la Gala Oddo, nor can I find Pasqua's baptism record in Campofiorito. I did, however, look through the Confirmation records and she and some of her siblings were confirmed on June 25, 1805 (see below).

Marriage of Michele Catalano and Virginia la Gala
Dated January 5?, 1822
The groom, Michele Catalano, was the son of deceased Giuliano Catalano and Anna Mastarella( ?). He was the widower of Anna Mistretta.
The bride, Virginia la Gala, was the daughter of deceased Gerlando la Gala and Giuseppa L’Arronda (?). She was the widow of Filippo Oddo.
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2046915
Death record of Filippo Oddo
He died in 1808, on the 24th of ? (the month is difficult to read, but it is one of the last four months of the year-I am thinking October- written as 8bris). He was the husband of Virginia Oddo. I’m not sure if the 45 off to the right is his approximate age at death. Difficult to say based on the condition of the record.

i have another surname that has many spellings with legally changed names that had i not found living people would not even know-- BUT some DNA matched me
it is intriguing
you are correct so much in this thread-- i really need to enter this info in an excel spreadsheet and make a list of missing info to research..

Re: Stabile in campo fiorito
Hi Linda
Happy I was able to find so much info for you.
The death record of Giovanni Montelione must be among those in the missing years. He is not listed in the death index, and we know he died sometime after his marriage to Pasqua Oddo and her remarriage in 1826.
As to the cresime-there could be other children there, but I didn't go through all of them. The sacrament of Confirmation was only administered to town residents in the years that the Bishop went to the town. So, in some towns, that was only every 15 or 20 years, and so you have infants as well as individuals in their 30s receiving the sacrament on the same day. Some towns, which do have these records microfilmed, have records in paragraph form, with no indices to locate what you need. So you have to go record by record. Other towns have what looks like registers-or more of an excel spreadsheet, and you can readily see all info about the individuals being confirmed. So you get the parents' names, the age of the person being confirmed, the sponsor's names. Some towns have a list of males, followed by the name of a single sponsor for all of the males confirmed on a single day, and then a list of females followed by the name of a single sponsor for all of the females. So the sponsors were not necessarily related to the individuals receiving the Sacrament. In Campofiorito, there are sponsors (my family called them Confirmation godmothers or godfathers). I didn't extract that info. They may be relatives of your ancestors, but not if the same sponsors appear for others whose names are totally different.
Here are a few other things I found in passing:
Death of Maria Oddo at about 10 months on Oct 28, 1792-of Filippo Oddo and Virginia Gala (3nd record on left)
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2046915
BTW, I don't know why the Antinovo family had an alias surname la Gala. There is another family in the town with the same name, possibly related generations back. I'll leave that for you to pursue, if you have the time.
marriage of Gerlando Oddo, son of Filippo Oddo and Virginia Antinovo (both deceased)
Sept 22, 1832
Banns on the 19th and 26th of Aug and 2nd of Sept, resulted in no legitimate impediments to the marriage
The groom, Gerlando Oddo, was the never before married son of deceased Filippo Oddo and Virginia Antinovo who were a married couple in this town when they were alive.
The bride, Vincenza Novetta, was a widow of deceased Don* (title) Pietro Rumore. (her parents’ names are not given in the record)
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2046915
death of Antonina Mistretta
Jan 12, 1860
Of deceased Antonino Mistretta and Antonina Quartana; wife of Fidele Stabile; age 72 (top left)
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2046915
I don't know why the Antinovo family used an alias surname la Gala. There is another family in the town with the same name and alias, possibly related at some generational level. I'll leave that for you to pursue, if you have the time.

Hi Linda
Glad you finally saw what I had found. Too often a volunteer does research for someone who posts on this forum, and the person never comes back and sees what you have spent a lot of time doing. Looking forward to seeing your spreadsheet, when you get it together. Glad I could help you.
