Hi I need help with translating Giovanna Scola's birth record. I think I'm seeing words like legitimacy, widow and I can't figure out what is being written in this birth record. Any help would be great.

The Registrar received a decree from the Court of Palermo. The decree ordered to write down in the town registers a late birth declaration for Giovanna Scola, who was born on Apr 19th, 1865 in Solanto (?), the daughter of Ippolito (now deceased) and Rosaria D'Amato.
Following, there the declaration of Rosaria D'Amato, wiow, 42 years old, stating the same in front of the Registrar.
She also said the child was born in her house at the Ponticello (? maybe a hamlet of the town).

In April of 1880, the comune of Solanto became the town of Santa Flavia. The town was Solanto from 1821 to this point in 1880. Both Solanto and Porticello are now considered frazioni or hamlets of the town of Santa Flavia. Rosaria was living in Porticello, not Ponticello.
