Help Finding Info On Italian Ancestors

I have been pretty stumped when it comes to finding any hard documentation about the old country. What I do know is:

GG-GF
Leonardo Corrado
Born 03/22/1882
Basiligate, Italy
Per his WWII draft card
I would love to find an actual birth record which confirms this information online somewhere, so that when I request this record from a service I have the best chance of getting it. I have looked very hard for it but feel like I've kind of run into a bit of a wall.

Also I don't really have ANYTHING on my GG-GMa's birth info. Her name was Angelina Pace? or Cerabona (not really sure which, I'm leaning towards Cerabona though). I suspect she was from Avellino and I think her birth day was in the year 1890. Also I believe she married my GG-GPa after arriving in the US. I do have the date and location of her death. I wonder if her death certificate would at least give me her birthday?

I also am feeling rather stumped regarding how to go about finding their marriage certificate. I haven't found it yet in any database search and I certainly do not know the date, although I do have an educated guess as to the year (1907) and the church (Our Lady of Pompeii, bleeker st, nyc).

Ciao Adelfio, have you ever tried to contact yourself one of those offices in Italy? I tried, but I havn't got any answer... I am looking for more info about my old old uncle but I know almost nothing about him... my mother is now 93 and her memory is very week. So I asked the little village in the Marche region to help me, but probaby (surely) they have many bigger issues in that region (due to the snow and ice in this odd winter)...
