Trying to figure out two things here, birth place and father's name.

What I have:
Marriage 22 Jan 1877
Groom: Francesco Menconi 24yo, farmer, born in and residing in Guamo, son of Constantino Menconi and Margherita Sbragia both residing in Guamo.
Bride: Assuntia Nolaschi 22yo, farmer, born in ???, residing in Guamo, daughter of ????, mother not listed.

I see ignorasi for the place where Assunta was born-which should mean unknown place. Daughter of the ospedale di Lucca- daughter of the hospital of Lucca. Maybe a foundling home. So it appears that she was of unknown parents.

Nothing that will help in your search, except that she was baptized with the Nolaschi surname in the church of S. Giovanni of this city. This extracted copy of her birth/baptism Jan 31, 1856 is from the registers of the parish of S. Luca and the original record is in the year 1856, Vol 8, the back side of page 205. The woman Providenza mentioned in the record carried her. She was probably a representative of the foundling home.
