Antonio Cammisa

[ItalianbellaSA]

Hi Everyone:

I am helping a distant relative with his tree. He is getting married in a few weeks and will be visiting Alcamo, Sicily on his honeymoon. He is doing some last minute research before he goes. He found another cousin, who lives in New York, who remembers his grandmother, Josephine Camisa, saying her grandfather (Antonio Cammisa) was in the Carabiniere and he remembers seeing a picture of him in his uniform. My relative's father also remembered a similar picture in his grandfather's old photo album, but doesn't remember of who. He would like to know if this marriage record may have his occupation or military service listed. I don't think it does, but I thought I would put it out there, just in case. Also, are there records, anywhere, that would list who was in the Carabiniere?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.
