Italian in Argentina

Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi Everyone:

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can search for a relative who went from Sicily to Mendosa, Argentina. I was recently contacted by someone who had knowledge of the birth of a child in Mendoza, Argentina. The child is the daughter of my great-grandmother's brother. I had Biagio Cappadona (born 1872 in Montagnareale) on my family tree, but I could not find any other information about him. So this opened a brick wall for me. I might be able to trace this line a little further.

Thank you in advance.

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

Sue there are church records for Mendoza Argentina online at familysearch.org. Have you tried looking through those?
