Help translating marriage notation on birth record

Post by Ljaconetta »

Hello:
I need help with transliteration of the Italian notations on my great grandmothers birth record.
See Attached. There are two notations and it looks like the first one was added to or corrected.
I have checked for marriage records and for any births after marriage in the town she was born of
San Giovanni e Paolo, Caserta and have been unable to find anything. Allegati records for marriages are not available. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. So I can further my research in the town she was married in. Thank you, Laura Jaconetta
This is what I've been able to figure out in Italian for the 2 paragraphs:

Con atto 24 July 1908
___ ___ in Napoli ___ _____
la Palumbo sposo Arnaldo
Riccardi or Biscardi??

Con atto _____ ______ in Napoli
(Chiaia) ___ Palumbo
sposo _____
_________
_________

The writing is very bad, however is as you read, a marriage.
The missing words are the number of the act (11?)and something I can't read, coul be a name, seems Chiara, but different from the birth act. The Surname is Biscardi.
The marriage was in Napoli, not in the place of birth, so try to look if there are registers of marriages of Napoli. In a great town I think there will be an index.
The second note is again a marriage, with ..... Esposito. Can't read the name and the date.

It identifies the quarter (neighborhood) of Napoli - Chiaia - which is on the seafront.

The registers of Napoli for this period are not present on Family Search nor Antenati.

Unfortunately, this is true. I have not found any digitized records after 1865. :-(
