Death of Pasquale Battista in Chiaromonte

If I am reading this correctly this is stating that Pasquale Battista, husband of Maria Sergio died on 13 Oct 1806?

On the preceding page however is the death record of their son Giovanni in 1814 which indicates Pasquale is living at the time.

If I am correctly translating Pasquale’s date of death would an abstract not normally indicate if one of the other persons named are deceased?

The death record for Giovanni might be incorrect as to his father living.
