Monreale marriage

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

The below link and attached is the 1546 Monreale marriage for Leonardo Ciuffo and Laura (upper left side of the page). I cannot not read Laura's last name. Anyone have an idea?

Thank you,

Chris

I am reading "lauria" not "laura". Lauria is the surname. First name isn't given?

Hi Angela,

I attached the index showing that Leonardo's sur name is Ciuffo and Lauria is is wife. I also see Antonio who most likely is his father but after that I can't read her sur name.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well done, Erudita. I can see that so clearly now. (I could see that in the index it definitely had her name as Laura.)

Hi Angela,

Yes, the surname isn't in the index, but the name jumped right out at me in the record.

Hope all's well with you and yours.

OMG,

As soon as you wrote Monteleone, I also see it right away.

Thank you both
