I'm looking to find my great-grandfather's military service information. My father thinks he served around 1912/1913.

He is from Anzano di Puglia, Foggia, which at the time was Anzano degli Irpino, Avellino. Which archive would I write to? I tried emailing both to ask and received no response.

Write in italian, providing alla infos of your ancestors, name birthdate and birthplace, to specify that is for family's genealogy use, to add a your ID card picture or driver license, and to specify that you wish to pay the service and ask for payment methods.
To specify also that the Archive can send the copy of Foglio Matricolare also by email attachment...

I received the record from Avellino! I had to pay 3.50 EU for the PDF. It is very difficult to read with the old fashioned handwriting in cursive, but I'll do my best to translate it.
