Hello!
I am looking for the birth record of Anthony D'Alessandro from Maddaloni. His parents were Francesco and Marianna (nee Cioffi), who were married in Maddaloni in 1886. Grazie!

You will need to write to the town offices if you can't find it here. https://www.familysearch.org/search/cat ... %20Library

Welcome to the forum...
Marriage of Francesco and Marianna in 1886 (#30)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043630
This appears to be the birth of their first child on 2 May 1887 - Rosa d'Alesandro (#365)
There is a margin notation of her death on 16 June 1887.

Here is the birth of a second child they named Rosa, on 26 October 1888 (#629)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043630
Birth of a son, Michele, on 10 October 1890 (#596)
Same parents as above births - Francesco 'Alessandro and Marianna Cioffi.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043630
Another Rosa born to the couple on 23 April 1893 (#302)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043630
I have checked the birth indices for years 1886-1901 and have not found a birth for Antonio(Anthony) d'Alessandro.

Re: Birth record
I have been chipping away at this over the last day or so and have also found the same records that Tessa found here plus the following two birth records:
1893 Birth No 302: Rosa d’Alessandro:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... 553301&cc=
1896 Birth No 131: Luigi d’Alessandro:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043630
Just two things:
I noticed that the indices for 1891 are missing the "A's". It seems like the page which would hold the surnames beginning with letter "A" has been ripped out, so you may want to search that year page by page, starting from late July. Personally, I'm pretty sure that if there was an Antonio born to this couple, that he would've been born some time after 1896. I searched to 1906 but I didn't see him in the indices. (Marianna would've been circa 44 in 1906.)
What other information can you give us about Antonio. Do you have estimated year of birth?

Not missing, just the corner is ripped so "C" shows through. No Antonio in 1891.

Yes, so it is. Thank you for checking.
