I am looking for any information on Giovanni Antonio Verderosa (my great grandfather), born 26 Nov 1867 in Ottati, Salerno, Campania, Italy. He was married to Geroloma Julia Vessa, and they had 4 children. Thank you very much!! Joe V

Father was Giuseppe, son of deceased Giovanni, 42 years old, carpenter
Mother was Pasqualina Diodati, daughter of Clemente

Here is the death act. In Parte II- Series C of the 1913 deaths in Ottati.
#1 - deceased listed as John Ross - with annotation of tribunale that he is Giovanni Vederosa, son of deceased Giuseppe, born in Ottati.
It appears he died in Brooklyn, and his widow Girolama Vessa presented the death act from NY for transcription into the record of deaths in Ottati.
Death in Brooklyn on 5 May 1904 at age 37.
On the NY death certificate his parents are listed as Giuseppe Ross and Pasqualina Onodato

In case you do not have it... here is the marriage of Giovanni and Girolama in February 1892
Same parents as the birth act found by Pippo above. His father, Giuseppe, is deceased at the time of Giovanni's marriage.
