Declarant (father): Mariano Savastano, son of deceased Antonio, 30 years old, living in Marmorata.
I can't read his profession. Maybe "conta(di)no" (in this case, it would be an error of the clerk)
Mother: Teresa Milano, 33 yo, his wife
The child was born on the same day at 6pm, and was given name Salvatore.

I think the occupation was that of a cartaro-a person who worked in the paper mill there. There was a paper mill there from the fifteen century which now is a hotel. The occupation is more clearly written in some other records in this group of records.

I agree with Erudita, it might be "Cartaro".
There were a lot of paper mills in that area, and the "carta di Amalfi" is very famous!
