Re: Help translating documents Pacifico Menozzi
Marriage No 8: Pacifico Menossi and Maria Fornasari
Quattroville (Virgilio): Sunday, 16 February 1873
Appearing were:
Groom: Pacifico Menossi, 24 yo, muratore (bricklayer/mason), celibe (never been married), born in S. Biaggio, living here, the son of the living Domenico (Menossi), a muratore, and of Pasqua Zanella, a donna di casa (domestic), residing here; and
Bride: Maria Fornasari, 20 yo?, a contadina (farmer), nubile (never married), born in Cavallara, comune of Viadana, living here, the daughter of the deceased Angelo (Fornasari) and of the living Giuseppa De Vecchi/Devecchi, a contadina, residing here,
I've made a start on this but run out time. Hopefully someone else can complete the two records.
Angela

Re: Help translating documents Pacifico Menozzi
Thank you Angela.
I took a stab at the second one with Tessa's translation of his brother Pellegrino from this post:
https://www.italiangenealogy.com/forum/topic/52207
Could someone confirm the below:
The Individual Record card for males lists information about Pacifico Menozzi.
Born December 1 ? 1848 (there is notation behind what I think is the number one not sure if that means anything)
Son of deceased Domenico and deceased Pasqua Zanella
Born Bagnolo (San Biagio)
Husband of Luigia Fornasari ? perhaps this was the middle name of the person in the marriage record if the last name matches?
Inscribed in the register for many years.
Coming from the town of (ditto) and the Province of (ditto)
Stato: ?
Removed from the register on 1924 or 1921? because of death at the hospital ?.
Thank you!

Thank you Tessa!
Some good news, with your translation of where the death occurred. I sent an email to the commune asking for the death record, and in less than 3 hours they sent it back! I was blown away.

Thank you!
The use of the words domiciled and residing here, would mean that his real home was in Virgilio, but he was staying (residing) possibly with family in Rodigo? The individual card came from Virgilio, so perhaps it took Rodigo awhile to send the death information to them which is why they noted 1924 vs 1922 on the actual record.
