Some help with 1825 procesetti PLEASE

Post by NickAndreola »

Page 1 (Image 16) https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... 47/LmXa9rB is the birth of the groom Giuseppantonio Simone to Michele & Carmina Tosches---I 'think' he was born ~1796; but I can't make out the date at all on this page...? does it say 179sei? what day & month? Were Giuseppantonio Tosches & Bonventura Tosches godparents? Any other vital info on this I'm missing?

Page 2 is the birth of the bride Antonia Rossacci to Agostino & Pulcheria Brunetti on 25 October 1802---yes? any other good info?

Page 3 repeats page 2

Page 4 is the death of Michele Simone--sometime in (maybe primo?) April 1816?--Age 45?----are his parents Sacerdota & Nicola Cirhrecicle (di Tommaso)...?

Page 5 I can't figure out at all--something about Pulcheria Brunetti on 14 July 1803...'wife of' Matteo Di Salvia????

Page 6 appears to be the death of Carmina Tosches--maybe in 1816?--age in the 40's--maybe 49?--don't see anything about spouse or parents...?

Page 7 appears to maybe be Michele Simone's parents (Giuseppantonio's grandparents)?--Nicola & Laura? Fratta...somebody maybe died in 1790? at age 85?

I appreciate any help!--for some reason I just can't quite seem to make anything out today

I think the baptism was on the 25th of Sept, not Oct, and that the birth took place at 9 the preceding night, so on the 24th.

April 1, 1816 is correct and he was age 45 at death in his own house. He was buried in the Mother Church. He had received the Sacraments of Confession, Holy Communion, and Extreme Unction (the Last Rites). No parents' names are listed for him.

Date of July 14, 1803 is correct, age at death is 35 ; wife of Matteo di Salvia. She only received the Sacrament of Penance (Confession) before she died, as no one was called in time to administer the other Sacraments before she died. Her body, after the funerals (I don't know why this word is plural), was buried in this Mother Church.

I'm reading Jan 1, 1816 death at 4 P.M. Not sure of her age but she was in her 40s, and I also think the age could be 49. She only received the Sacrament of Extreme Unction and was buried in this church of the holiest apostles Peter and Paul

Page 7 appears to maybe be Michele Simone's parents (Giuseppantonio's grandparents)?--Nicola & Laura? Fratta...somebody maybe died in 1790? at age 85?

Nicola Simone, husband of Laura Fratta, died at age 85, received all three Sacraments before his death, and was buried in this holy church. I don't see a year, although that may be Feb 6th at the very top of the record. Not sure.

I agree with the 7th and 1796, but don't see the word for August in the record, and don't know what word is written between the 7 and 1796 in the record.

Thank you both for the help in understanding this branch of my family tree....it has been (and still is) a confusing line for me.

I can't seem to get a clear story or time line for this group.

My understanding now is that Antonia Rossacci was the daughter of Agostino Rossacci & Pulcheria Brunetti. Antonia was born on 24 Sep 1802.

Her father, Agostino, is noted as DI on Antonia's 1825 marriage record (both the Act https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... 93/LzR41KQ and in this document package)--so he was alive in 1825. I think he remarried and died on 11 Oct 1832 https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... 08/0ZjdyP3.

Her mother, Pulcheria Brunetti, died the year after Antonia was born on 14 July 1803. Since she just had Antonia AND her husband Agostino was still living---WHY is her spouse on her death record noted as Matteo Di Salvia?

As far as MIchele Simone & Carmina Tosches' 1816 deaths---I'll have to go with the information you've given me here---OF COURSE, HA!---the early part of 1816's records are missing and not available to review!

Nick,
Agostino Rossacci died in 11 Oct 1932 Lucera jail hospital, farmhand, 66 old, son of late Paolo and late Cristina Andreani, husband of Luigia Brigantino.. abt other questions, dear Nick needs to know perfectly the genealogic tree...Abt Pulcheria Brunetti death it is a mystery, or the priest made a error writing the death certificate, or just was another Pulcheria Brunetti, the cousins, in old time, had same names often.

Thanks, suanj. That letter "d" did not look the same as the other ones in the document, at least to my eyes.

Happy to have helped, Nick. I also agree with what suanj told you concerning the death record extract for Pulcheria. Extracted records, although they are said to conform to the originals, often have errors. I recall a case where there were two records, with the same names, with one record separating them in the original register, but the wrong one was copied to be included with a marriage package. Remember, that most of these individuals, during that time period, were illiterate and, even if presented with the physical copies to look over, would not have known that the wrong record was among the supporting documents for their marriage.

Thank you both for the wonderful insights you've given me! I appreciate you time and effort immensely :D

I knew Agostino died in Lucera but the prison hospital is something I missed!
