Translation marriage of Luigi Guidotti

Post by deigo1 »

Hello could someone help with the translation of the marriage certificate of Luigi Guidotti in Part 2 from Gaggio Montano. I had not been able to locate the actual marriage in the US, but what I can make out this perhaps is a copy of the US marriage cert that was shared with the commune and translated to Italian. He lived around the Peoria, IL area.... in what I can make out I see Peoria a couple times. I have nothing formal of his wife's maiden name, but this may help with that as well. I was curious if there are any parents names listed as I haven't found much in the last name of Vecco (it's not local to the commune that I have saw).

Thanks,

The entry is dated 6 April 1929 in Gaggio.

Marriage took place in Illinois, county of Peoria, and a copy was sent to Gaggio to be written into the register...
The official in Illinois attests that on 31 December 1924, the Rev. Charles Edward Raymond, Minister of Religion, united in marriage Sig. Luigi Guidotti of Farmington, Illinois; and Signorina Carolina Vecco of Peoria Heights.
Signature of the official of the court of Peoria, today 9 November 1928 (the date the official signs the copy that was sent.)
It was verified in the register on 25 May 1929.
