Translating Marriage Certificate - Bonetti - 1808 in Montese

Post by deigo1 »

Hello could someone help with the translation of what I believe is my 4x great grandparents marriage record from 1808 in Montese. Giacomo Bonetti and Anna Zeni. Unfortunately this is the one registry that doesn't have an index, so I believe I'm reading those names. Hoping I've found it :D

This is the death record of their son Giuseppe that was previously translated that I'm hoping the parents align too.

Dated 27 December 1883 in Montese
Death on 26 December in the house in Ranocchio #77 of Giuseppe Bonetti, 65, farmer residing in Ranocchio, born Ranocchio to deceased Giacomo, farmer; and deceased Anna Zeni, housewife, both residing in Ranocchio in their lifetimes. Giuseppe was the widower of Angela Bernardini.

Thank you,
D.

Thank you Pippo, I'm glad I finally found a family marriage that happened in this time period, everything seemed to be just out side of these year :)

I googled Ranocchio and Salto, but pulled up blank. Would this be just small villages, with the main town center being Montese? Relating it to the US, Montese is like the county seat. Ranocchio is what is listed on the naturalization documentation for my great-grandmother that came to the US.

Thank you!

Montese is the main town center, and Salto and Ranocchio two smaller villages, administratively dependent on Montese
