1908 Atti di Morte - Francesco Boccanera
1908 Atti di Morte - Francesco Boccanera
I've attached a scan of Record No. 60 from the 1908 Leonessa death records for what I believe to be for Francesco Boccanera, husband of Maria Zampetti.
Any assistance with the translations of the details would be greatly appreciated. Of specific interest is his age at death, place of birth, parents names and confirmation of marriage to Maria Zampetti and if it mentions if she pre-deceased him.

Thank you so much for the quick translation and tracking down the birth record for Francesco. I did not have that record yet. As I mentioned in another thread I started today, I have just circled back to researching my family line in Leonessa. The last time I reviewed the records was 2014/2015 and it appears the available records and indexing has increased greatly.
Previously Francesco was the end of my Boccanera branch, so Fabrizio & Alessandro Boccanera and Elisabetta Lopez push back that line another full generation.

Thank you again with your assistance on bring these new records to my attention. With the 1830 birth record you provided for Francesco I was able to find the 1828 marriage record for Fabrizio Boccanera and Elisabetta Lopez.
I started a separate thread for the requested translation of that record:

Re: 1908 Atti di Morte - Francesco Boccanera
Amazing!
The generations are coming in quick today on this branch.
Now if I can only track down a birth/marriage/death record for Maria Zampetti I should be able to finally determine her parents and fill in the last pair of 4th great-grandparents on my family tree.
It looks like there is a gap in the digitized records for Leonessa between 1865 and 1900 when I believe here death would have been recorded. From the birth record of potentially her first child I at least now have a starting point for her birth +/- 1841, and potentially a marriage record in the area for the few years before 1860.
Again, thanks for your assistance and I would always welcome related records in this family group if you happen to turn them up.

Thank you for the reminder. Last time I worked this side of the family the records covering the branch in Alia were only available on physical film rolls that I had to request be sent to a local library that was a branch of the Family History Center.
It now appears they no longer ship physical rolls, but restrict access to digital files to the library terminals. Odd, but at least it's faster than realizing you didn't request all the reels you needed for a project and having to wait a few weeks for the next set. Luckily I am only about 20 minutes from a Family History Center affiliated library.

Yes, they no longer ship films, but give limited access to digitized records.
Good Luck!
I have searched extensively for a marriage for Maria and Francesco.
I also searched the notifications/banns because the marriage may have taken place in another town (usually the hometown of the bride)
A search for Maria's birth act was also unsuccessful in Leonessa.
The Zampetti surname is found in Rieti. Perhaps a birth can be found there.

Thank you for looking into this for me. It confirms the work I did yesterday looking for a birth or marriage of Maria Zampetti in Leonessa. I think for now my best bet is finding her death record in the Family History records. I've narrowed the timeframe of her death to before 1898 when she was reported as deceased on the marriage record of her daughter Margherita Boccanera and the early 1880s with the birth of her daughter Elisabetta/Elizabeth Boccanera.
I would be more confident in accepting a birth record found in a different town if I had matching parents reported on her confirmed death record in Leonessa. If/when I find that death record I will update this thread and start a new one for its translation.
