Arduini Family

Hello guys.

I am very interested in the subject of Italian genealogy. I've already discovered a lot about my family but my goal is to go back in time as far as possible in my family tree. I'm currently at 1865 and can't go any further than that. Can you help me to find more about the Arduini Family? I will be eternally grateful.

1) Francesco Arduini - is my great grandfather
Birth: 1865 Castellucchio, Mantova, Lombardia, Itália
Parents: Giovanni Arduini and Maria Gerola
I know he had brothers
He was married to Smeralda Corradini on December 28th 1890 in Porto Mantovano, Mantova, Lombardia, Itália.

I need to go back beyond 1865 and find out more about Francesco's parents.

From 1865 to the present day I have found everything. my goal is from 1865 backwards.

Death of Giovanni Arduini (Francesco's father) in 1890

Giovanni was age 70 (so born about 1820).
He was a farmer, born in Gazzuolo to deceased Luigi [Arduini] and to deceased Teresa Dell'Acqua.
He was the widower of Maria Gerola.

I have been searching for additional records for Luigi Arduini and Teresa Dell,Acqua, but there appear to be no records online from 1815 to 1866.

I also checked for deaths in both towns after 1866, and only found Giovanni.

Interesting to note on Giovanni's death act...
He was the widower "in the second vows" of Maria Gerola.
And one of the declarants of the death was a Pietro Arduini, age 36, though no relationship is given.

I know that Pietro Arduini, one of the declarants of the death was Giovanni's son. He was married to Carolina Prati and had a lot of children.

What about Luigi Arduini? If his son was born about 1820s then Luigi must be born between 1780 and 1800.

really interesting.

She may have been his second wife.

But based on the ages of the two sons you know of, they were probably married before 1856 (Pietro being 36 in 1890).
