Hi, I am looking for any citizenship and or passport or personal records documents of my great grandfather Giuseppe Biagio Testa born 17 October 1869, he is from Carignano in Piedmont and emmigrated to South Africa around 1900

There is no Giuseppe Biagio Testa born on the date you’ve mentioned in Carignano.
I’ve also looked at 1868/1869/1870 indexes,
The only one with a Testa surname is Andrea born in September 1869.
These are the 1866-1881 birth registers for Carignano.

Hi thanks for your reply, Found out recently he was actually born in the city of Turin, he moved to Carignano as a child and lived there until he immigrated.

The birth act is dated 19 October 1869
The date of birth is 17 October.
Father: Tommaso Testa, 29, gunsmith.
Mother: Lucia Nicola, 23, his wife
Child born in Torino, Via Borgo San Donato, casa Bonando, #29, third floor (this would be second floor, as the ground level is first floor )
The child was given the name Giuseppe Biagio.
