Attached are snippets from a marriage and death records, which list the occupation of Pietro Soncini. I have highlighted the word in yellow. Can anyone tell me what the profession is?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Re: Trying to decipher occupation
I'm seeing "cascinaio" which I haven't come across before, so I'm guessing a farmer.
It would really help if you could link us to those two records. Thank you. (Snippets don't give us a lot to work with.)

cascinàio s. m. (f. -a) [der. of farmhouse]. – One who supervises a farmhouse; in Emilia, a worker assigned to the operations for making Parmesan cheese and butter.
The record mentions Gattatico, which is in the province of Reggio Emilia, in Emilia-Romagna Region.
And I agree with Angela that it is more helpful if we can view he entire record.

Re: Trying to decipher occupation
Sorry thought zooming in would be more beneficial. I've attached the two.
Yes the family lived in Gattatico amongst other towns in the area.

Cascina can refer to the wooden molds used to form cheese. It is possible that a cascinaio was the maker of those molds.
Thank you for the records.
