On 23 April 1691, the marriage of Vincenzo Coppula, who had never been married, son of Francesco Coppula and the late Pietra La Vechia, formerly married in this aforementioned town, to Francesca La Marcha, who had never been married, daughter of the late Giusto La Marcha and Margherita Giovincho, formerly married in this aforementioned town of Santa Margherita.

Vincenzo was baptised in SMB on 18 August 1663. Img092, f. 114, top entry.

do you believe Margherita Giacone is different than Margherita Giovincho.
I had seen that but did not know what to do with it . lol
i guess i need to look for another marriage but have to find out if the timeline fits

I will have to look again as I had his baptism as April 18

Do you think giusto's parents are Liborio or Librido for father and Francesca Sparacino for mother

and bride's parents Felice for father and Leonarda La Vecchia or Rectoria

The 1660 marr record is between Giulio La Marca and Margherita Giacone. (You can see this in the record but even more clearly in the index, where the groom's name is written Julius.) The parents of Francesca La Marca were Giusto La Marca and Margherita Giovinco. Were these the same couple? Maybe. If so, which record was wrong? More likely the marriage of Francesca La Marca, but you couldn't tell for sure unless you looked at other records.

La Marcha = La Marca. Giovincho = Giovinco = Giovenco.

Giulio's parents were Librante (=Liberante) and Francesca La Sparacina (=Sparacino). Margherita's parents were Filippo and Leonarda La Restiva (= Restivo).

I have older photographs of these records that are different from the ones on the current diocese's website. Sometimes the older copies are clearer and sometimes the newer ones are.

As I pointed out on the other thread, there is a marriage record for Librante La Marca son of Giusto La Marca and Margherita Giacone. Thus I conclude that these Giusto and Giulio are the same person and Margherita Giacone and Margherita Giovinco are the same person and moreover the correct surname for Margherita is Giacone, but whether Giulio was a mistake or whether he was called both Giulio and Giusto I cannot say.
