my great grandmother was named rosa st george, does anyone know if this is an italian name, she was married to michele catuosco from what i can figure is marsicoverte or marisco nuovo (spelling of these towns may be wrong, sorry) this is how her name is listed on my grandparents marriage license. thanks

Hi: Sangiorgio is exact spelling.

Names Towns exact is Marsicovetere and Marsico Nuovo.
Sangiorgio surname currently is present in Marsico Nuovo.. and present (sure) in 1893 year in town of Venosa(PZ)

:lol: , thanks suanj, having a heck of a time with that name, didn't sound italian , but i know she was born it italy. now off to find a marriage licensce for the her. thanks again you have been a big help in areas.
