response from italy!

Post by davidlatour »

I just received my bisnonno's "estratto - riassunto di atto di nascita" Should this pass with the SF consulate (its a extract rather than a full blown certificate). I'm really excited I finally heard back from a comune! They ignored my first request but responded to my second letter about a month after i sent it :-)
Surnames: Campaniello - Ferraro - Paliano - Basile - Benvenuto - Rigieri

Did you compose the request yourself in Italian, or did you have it done for you? If so, do you have a recommendation on who to use? I need two from a little town in Abruzzo.

The estratto is generally what they send. You should be fine.
