There is only one person llisted in the local telephone book, a few miles west of Bollington. I think this person might be the widow of Lawrence Lanni, but I don't know yet. I'll let you have the details at the end of the week.
I spoke to the priest - Father Francis - at St Gregory's Church today, and he will check his records to see if he has had any marriages or burials for the name Lanni. He will let me know at the end of this week.
I think I have found Domenico's year of death, but again, I want to make sure before I pass this information to you. He definitely isn't buried at Macclesfield, so I'm waiting to see what Father Francis finds.
Tomorrow I will try Stockport Cemetery to see if Lawrence is buried there, as his death was registered in Stockport. Will let you know later in the week.
I have also found a few other Lanni's in Cheshire, and it's possible they are also descendants of Domenico or Lawrence, but I need to find out a little more about them before I pass the details on to you.
Do you or your friend know why Domenico went to live in Bollington? Do you know what his occupation was? This might also help me to find out more information about him.
I thank you for the information that you to communicate itself. That will be certainly a good start to make research.
Thank you,

Message for Seraphina,
I do not have unfortunately an other information only those which I wrote on the forum and those provided by Suanj. I do not know the trade of Domenico and I do not know why it went in Bollington. I received by private email two addresses of LANNI in the area of Bollington. I wrote to them, they are perhaps children of Lauwrence or descendants of Domenico. I hope that he will answer me.
I thank you for your research and I await your news impatiently.
