This is the correct De Marinis family!!!
Alfonso was my Dad's uncle! I knew him. He died in 1992.
I also remember aunt Mildred and aunt Genevieve!!!
My God, I owe you all so much.
Slowly, the puzzle gets filled!

Re: Help with the Diorio name.
incredible work!!!
Now if only I could find my Grandfather's passport info. (Vincent Diorio or Vincenzo Diorio, or Di Iorio)
Even better yet, I need to track down his father's stuff... Carmine Giuseppe Angelo Diorio. His town of origin would mean I could write to Italia for the records, no?
Obviously, the De Marinis family was easier!
Grazie, grazie... tanti grazie!

Re: Help with the Diorio name.
Question: How did you actually find the passport of the Parrazzo? Couldn't I find my Grandfather's passport using the same method?
Re: Help with the Diorio name.
Giovanni: for to write in Italy need of to know the right birthplace, so it is necessary other search steps... the marriage act... and also to find Carmine DI IORIO ship's manifest with Teresa wife... on the ship's manifest maybe it could be the first name: Carmine, or Carmine Giuseppe, or Carmine Giuseppangelo, no Carmine Giuseppe Angelo... but I believe only Carmine... just my suggestion....
