Thank you again!
I couldn't quite understand the writing or where you got the dates from, but I've since read a little about the Roman Calendar being only 10months and it now makes a little more sense, and interestingly explains why our months are called what they are Sept being 7 Octo being 8 and ...

Re: TURCO Nicolo fu Giorgio Canicatti Sicily died 1891
Francesca Nicoscia's parents were married in Canicattì on 2 November 1809.
Domenico Nicoscia had never been married and was the son of the late Francesco and Antonina.
Giuseppa di Pasquale was also unmarried and the daughter of the late Diego and Petra, who was still alive.
Both spouses were from ...

Thank you, I see now the reference to Second PArt (13S). The first page of the section in the index has Naro crossed out with Canicatti written over it, and I looked in Naro, and couldn't see it.
I went onto Antenati and looked there and found the marriage record for them, and can't read location ...

Please post the URL, not a stamp!!!!
Thank you for checking Angela, I thought I was mis-reading it. A copying error anless the record was missing I suppose.

Sorry, my mistake.
I'd lost the page, but saved the screengrab and only added to show his year of birth.
Apologies.

Re: Newly discovered grandfather - Caruso
Hi There, Back on this site after a while busy with life.
I have been researching Caruso, after my father. I knew his family, but his father (my grandfather or "Nonno") died when he was 3, and so he never really knew his paternal relatives....We do now.
Any how I digress. I am in Scotland, and ...

TURCO Nicolo fu Giorgio Canicatti Sicily died 1891
Ciao tutti.
I am looking for the death record of Nicolo TURCO fu Giorgio. I found the index listing for him, but when I searched the record entries themselves it seems that 1891 is missing?
Does anyone else know where I might find it?
Thank you.
Patrizia

Re: Pasta Imposter
I've heard of people using chickpea or coconut flour as alternatives to wheat, but never tried it myself?
I was personally trying to limit carbohydrate for a while and used a spiraliser to make strings of parsnip, or other veg as an alternative. Limited success from a texture point of view, but ...

Family Search Records for Conselve and Padova
Good Evening.
Happy 2025!
I wonder if anyone can advise me if there is a way to view these records on-line as this now seems to be blocked, where previously I have been able to access them?
I have found some on the antenati.cultura.gov.it but only those between 1806 and 1815.
