This is what I have from when my great-grandmother Vita came here from Italy with my grandmother and other children. She was 46 in 1912. I believe, from doing the math, she would've been born in 1866.

I'm just hoping that I can find my grandfather, Cristofaro Rizzo's brothers & sisters. He was B:13 Feb 1880 Carapepa, Valguarnera Caropepe, Enna, Sicilia, Italy; D:11 1959 Englewood, Bergen, New Jersey, USA
I do have a photo of him with his siblings that was my mother's. It has a few names on it, I believe.

Appearing before the official was Giovanni Mazzurco, 34 yo, contadino (peasant/farmer), who reported that at 7 am, on 9 of the current month (9 February 1879), in the house in Via Carmine, no number, from Gaetana Caprone, a filatrice (spinner), his wife, living with him, was born a baby boy, who presented to me (the official), and to whom he gave the name of Salvatore.

The other people mentioned there are just the witnesses to the birth registration.

Yes I did locate Giuseppa's birth record in 1876. I posted the information below. You may have missed it though because when I linked you to the online record I called her Giuseppe. Sorry, I didn't notice my typo until now. There was no annotation about marriage or death on her birth record. I'll finish typing up the translation and post it shortly.

Lucy, are you able to confirm that your Vita Mazzurco was born c.1864 and not c.1888 because I’ve located a Vita Mazzurco born in 1888. She was also the daughter of a Giovanni Mazzurco and a Gaetana Caprone 40 yo (c.1848). I’ve been trying to work out the Martina/Gaetana thing. From the children that I’ve located, it looks like she called herself Martina until 1873 when Antonino was born. Were there any other children born to Martina/Gaetana where she called herself Martina.

Also I didn’t see a Salvatore Caprone born in 1876, but Giuseppa was born January 1876.

Just want to make sure we have the correct people. (You did say that your Vita was married 19 August 1882 so the 1864 Vita makes sense there.)

The other children besides your Vita (1864), I know of and have located are Antonina (Nov 1867), Antonina (1870), Antonino (1873), Giuseppa (1876), Salvatore (1879), Annunziata (1882), Biagio (1884), Vita (1888)

Biagio was born in Valguarnera, while the others were born in Regalbuto. I think I’ve posted them all. Were there any others you know of. (The mother is called Martina in the first three births and then goes by Gaetana)

You mentioned that you didn’t know whether Giuseppa immigrated with your great grandmother Vita and syblings. Have you explored immigration records, census records etc? Let me know. I’ll just keep chipping away at this when I can. (I have a few commitments on today.)

The only one that I know of that immigrated with my great-grandmother was her sister Annunziata, along with Annunziata's daughter Josephine. I'm going to try looking through the Ellis Island site again, and will also look through census records. Thank you so very much for all of this. Re Giuseppa, I don't think she did come to America but do check anyway. I've just searched on Family Search and have located a tree pertaining to Giuseppa Mazzurco. I'm understanding that she first married in 1894 in Valguanera a Giuseppe Di Prima. Unfortunately the 1894 marriage records are not on line but there was a copy of the marriage record which wasn't very clear. This is what I could read:

Giuseppa was 18 yo, a casalinga, born in Regalbuto and residing in Valguarnera, the daughter of Giovanni Mazzurco and Gaetana Caprone.

Giuseppe Di Prima, was unmarried, 36 yo, born in Valguarnera, residing Valguarnera, the son of Michele Di Prima and of Antonina Pace both residing in Valguarnera. The following link should bring you to the copy of the record attached to the tree:

I followed up on the clues about the second and third marriages and located the records:
