Nick, Yes Deloia is how a lot of my relatives spelled their last name in USA. Have you been to Italy since you learned all of these things about your family? Please share!

Re: requesting family records
Yes that is the correct address for our family in Italy. Small world huh? What is the family name you are researching? I wonder if we are distant cousins?
Brunetti, D'Aloia, Iacovelli, Palmieri????
Many Italians in Milford came from that little town in italy.

VJ,
Thanks so much for the marriage information! Right ON!! Ship lists look accurate for who I'm looking for too. I wonder when my great-grandmother came... If they were married here, then she must have come to the USA with her own family at an earlier date. Maybe a shiplist for Giocondo Milani ...

Hello All,
I've got a bit of research to do here. Boston Consulate's Mr. C has asked for spelling corrections on my paternal grandmother's papers. I'll need to find her parents information from the late 1800's early 1900's. They were both from Northern Italy (don't know exact town).

Thanks for the info, but it doesn't apply for this person as he only died back in 2000. ancestry.com wouldn't have that info yet.

Re: Carescia Loretta C and John H Andreano
It would help to know who Filomena's parents were... any idea? In Italy women never take a married name so they keep their birth name for life. Do you have her death certificate? On the certificate it would list her parents names I think.

Re: Carescia Loretta C and John H Andreano
Was her full name Maria Filomena Tosches? Do you know who her father and mother and grandparents were? Maria Filomena is a family name, but we'd need to know the parents and grandparents to be sure.
