Census Help

Hello! If anyone has access to Census information, could you look up someone for me? I am looking for my Great-Great Aunt who died in Brooklyn in 1927 at 47 years old. Her name was Maria Santa Lategano (maiden name Virelli). She may have lived in NYC earlier, although I don't know when she came over ...

Pipio
Megale
Mastromatteo
all from Ferrandina ...

Re: Virelli

Ancestry has obituaries, try searching for the names of any children born to them, the search engine will pick up on any name listed in the obit......you can then determine any family relationships.
wldspirit

Wldspirit,
Thanks for the tip. When you say Ancestry, do you mean Ancestry.com? I guess ...

Thanks Biff :D , but I forgot to give Natalie
the link to all the IGG databases.
You're right, if Camilla died in 1946,

Re: Virelli

Valarie,
Great work on Camilla's possible death cert on the other thread.

From your 1920 census find, it might be a fair guess that Camilla's husband was Michele. Since Camilla's not living with Vito, I wonder if she's with daughter Caterina and family.
