My husband is from the Bay area as were all of the Mecchis/Luporinis he is related to. Some still live there. His grandmother was Rose Luporini and she and her brother Achille Benedetto Luporini were born in Nevada. They moved to the Bay area. She married Peter Mecchi, who was my husband's ...

It says she died in June of 1915 in the Southwark District of Greater London ( the district is according to the 1901 Onw- may be another name by now. I'm in the US so you'll have to look for maps there) It is in Volume 1d of the England and Wales FreeBMD index. I got it from Ancestry.com, but there ...

yes, about or around (as in abt 1814) means what it looks like and using it in searches can really help sometimes !
