How do I obtain grandparents birth records - Crotone

Hi,

I'm not sure on the process of obtaining birth records for my grandparents. They were both born in Crotone.
Their details are:

Nonno: Giuseppe Mungari born 13 July 1914 - his parents were Biagio and Palma
Nonna: Barbara Sicilia born 5 December 1915 - her parents were Giuseppe and Immacolata ...

Profession = meccanico = mechanic

Son of "fu" Biagio, indicating that Biagio was deceased.

And of Palma Schirrapi (spelled Sghirrapi in Crotone)

figli di: something? Biagio
e di: something? Palma

Hi again, Marty.

My grandparents immigrated from Crotone to Argentina in 1949 with 8 children, the youngest (I think his name was Luigi) died before they left.

Nona Barbara's parents were Giuseppe and Immacolata Sicilia
Nono Giuseppe's parents were Biagio and Palma Mungari

My great grandparents ...

Ciao,

I'm having a lot of difficulties with this surname, Mungari. My mums maiden name.
I was wondering if there was a way I could search this name in a phone book or ask for records?
I'm new to all this.
My grandparents were from from Crotone, Calabria

Any help would be greatly appreciated ...

One has to look at history, immigration patterns and wars.
The Romans were in Spain/Portugal (Iberian Peninsula). The Romans named Spain - Hispania.

I got 55% Italian/Greek and 11% Middle Eastern (mums family is from Calabria).
