The Europa manifest (#15) lists his age as 24 (vs 21) and makes birth in 1883 more solid... I can't quite make out his destination location....? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9R8-CXFD?i=455&cc=1368704&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJXVW-WJZ This is likely his JANU...

Re: Celestino Orsogna ---OOPSIE?

Wow! I could tell just enough to know that it was a very unusual departure from the 'normal' documents I see in the marriage records....but what you've transcribed is quite a story! Thanks guys for your help! That was above & beyond Arturo & I really appreciate the time & effort ...

Re: Tracing your Geneology: What methods do you find the most useful?

I regularly use both antenati and familysearch.org https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/location/1927178?region=Italy because antenati does not yet cover all of the areas of interest to me. Re: Casalvecchio di Puglia

This is one of the better organized groupings of 'Allegati (vari)' for Casalvecchio. The others are in progress but will take some time. NOTES on using this list. 1. The individuals with the [[name-number]] notations already have profiles created and are part of the 3.5K+ folks on the list (see post...

Re: Difficulty downloading/opening antenati processetti

MariaMadonna, It happens to me sometimes too. I'll be cruising along reviewing a record set year-by-year with all of the images opening correctly (so I can scan for the index etc) and then all of a sudden when clicking on the next year's link, I have to open each image individually because only an i...
