Re: Translate Italian newspaper article

Christine, which Italian newspaper is this article from? I am researching in the New Haven area as well. Availability of the many Italian newspapers seems spotty at best. Thanks!

Re: Giori and Pasanni families from Nozza, Brescia

Janlee, I recently started researching Angela Giori Anelini's son, Angelo Anelini, who was born in Germany about 1908. His father Alessio was a miner. Angelo was married to my grand Aunt, Rose Aguzzi, in New Haven, CT. He disappeared about 1935. On Ancestry, someone has him as Angelo Aguzzi-Nocera ...

I appreciate your help.

Translation of Foundling Birth Record

I would appreciate help translating my great grandmother's birth record. I am having trouble with the lower half of the second paragraph. Was she brought to the House of the Abandoned?

Thank you!

Re: Consiglia Maddalena born in Argentina / Scapilatti lines

My ggf was Marcellino Maddalena born in 1860 in Piedimonte d'Alife. Yes, the Maddalena surname is popular.

Re: Consiglia Maddalena born in Argentina / Scapilatti lines

My ggf had two brothers who migrated to Buenos Aires circa 1900. Supposedly they have descendants there. The brothers are from the Maddalena branch from Piedimonte d'Alife.
