Please help! Birth Notation 'Stato civile Napoleonico'
Dear Friends,
I have an entry that I am struggling to translate, I have so far managed to learn to navigate Italian and Latin notation with help but I can only understand a few words on the Napoleonic era registers. Is this an appropriate place to ask for help with french notation?

Thank you so much for taking the time to look back through the Chieri records - discovering my ancestor was originally Bernardino rather than Bernardo was something my family did not know! Thank you for also clarifying the naming of the registers.

@Mmogno, this record has been so useful to me as I now have a place of origin for my great-great-great grandparents - as well as names!
One thing confused me about the location having thoroughly sifted through the adjoining microfilms in the sequence, how were you able to identify "Battesimi ...

Thank you so much Angela! That’s really interesting. Anna Cornaglia was his first wife and I am hoping I will find a death certificate for her in time. Any idea why a tribunal would be be held? I did note that they mistranscribed the surname on the liste de leva.

Torino Civil registration - help with a tricky little notation! Please!
I have been trying to translate my great-grandfather’s Giuseppe Burzio’s birth in the Torino civil registration books. Any help translating the notes written by the registrars would really be gratefully received.
Gratzie!
