Death certificate for an Italian immigrant in New York City/Queens (1930s)

This forum has been helpful in the past. I’m researching my paternal Great-Great Grandmother -

Rosolina CARINO (maiden name Varallo).

I already have a birth certificate (1853)/ Marriage Certificate (1882)/ Passenger List (1912) / US census records(1920 &1930) (Queens New York)

The 1920 and 1930 ...

Trouble accessing Antenati? the past couple of days?

Greetings,

I'm receiving a '403 forbidden' message when I try to access the site. None of my saved links work either.

I can also use a VPN so I don't think it's my location. Anyone else?

Thanks

Re: Help finding death records

Thank you Ann! You and Angelresearch.net are two resources I didn't know about. Fantastic!

Thank you Tessa! Good advice! I have only found their birth records. Your advice has motivated me to dig deeper - and I'll research the Processetti/Allegati when I find them! Helpful!

Have a lovely day,
Jon

Help understanding professions ('Galant Uomo' and '“Impiegato nella Fattintendenza"?

Greetings to this community!

A question regarding a profession recorded as “Galant Uomo”, I understand the gist of it but was wondering if anyone had insights or ideas into what precisely the the ‘job’ entailed. In later records his profession is landowner (Possidente), so I can only speculate ...

Re: Help Reading Birthplace

Angela. I -am -absolutely -floored. You have made my year! You have no idea how long I've searched for this - happily - but still. Unbelievable. I had been meaning to write to you about Anzivino - but I've had a terribly busy week - what a surprise to open this. The 'Family' libraries aren't ...

Re: Help Reading Birthplace

Well Angela, goodness, Thank you back. I'm still wearing the smile you gave me!

I had the birth record for Rosolina (thank you) but had only done a little research on her parents. Likewise, for Nicola Carino's mother, I don't have recored for Ansevino(Anzevino) but I've only searched Avellino ...

Re: Help Reading Birthplace

Dear Angela,

Thank you so much for your considerate reply. I hadn't thought about your suggestion at all - and completely see the possibility or Orta Nova in Provincia di Foggia. Thank you I'll try to look into it (happily) although I know the Foggia records aren't easily accessible online. (from ...

Help Reading Birthplace

Greetings! Happy to be part of this community. My first post.

I've been researching my ancestors from Campania/Avellino, generally from the communities of Atripalda, Sant'Angelo Dei Lombardi, Nusco, and Montella.

I cannot read the attached birthplace and appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
